NETWORKING LUNCHEONS
Throughout the year, the REALTOR® Association of Acadiana (RAA) holds General Membership Luncheons on a variety of different topics. This is a great way to network with other members.

GUMBO COOKOFF
This is the RAA’s signature event! Every year members of the RAA compete in our Gumbo Cook-off! This event is 30 years strong and holding, with over 28 teams vying for the title of best gumbo. All proceeds benefit local charities in our community. Each charity is selected on a three-year cycle, and our selected charities are:
The 30th Annual Gumbo Cook-off will be held on Friday, October 16th in conjunction with Downtown Alive featuring Marc Broussard!
REALTOR® APPRECIATION DAY
The REALTOR® Association of Acadiana currently has over 1500 members. Without the help of our members and volunteers, the RAA would not be where it is today. To thank our wonderful members, the RAA along with the help of our affiliate members, hold REALTOR® Appreciation Day at the Cajundome Convention Center.
The day starts off with a vendor fair followed by a luncheon. This is a great way to celebrate your profession as well as networking with colleagues and affiliate members!
AFFILIATE APPRECIATION DAY
The association would not be what it is today without the help of our amazing affiliate members! To help honor all their hard work, dedication, and valuable time and effort, we have a day to celebrate them!
Our REALTOR® members help with the event planning and execution of the event by providing door prizes, lunch, and saying Thank You for all you do.
INSTALLATION GALA
Our annual Installation Gala celebrates the new incoming leadership from the President to the Board of Directors. The Installation of our 2020 President, Jim Keaty, will take place on January 9th from 6-9pm at Rock-n-bowl.
