YEARLY REQUIREMENTS
The Louisiana Real Estate Commission requires every licensed agent to complete 12 hours of continuing education, including any LREC Mandatory Topics, to renew their license each year.
If you are a newly licensed agent, LREC requires you to complete a 45-hour post-licensing course within 180 days from your license date.
After you complete this course, the only class you are required to complete is the LREC Mandatory Topic for that year.
The 2022 Mandatory Topic is 36 Ways to Lose Your License.
TRIENNIAL REQUIREMENTS
The National Association of REALTORS® requires all REALTOR® members take the Code of Ethics every 3 years.
We are currently in the 2022-2024 cycle. You must take Code of Ethics by December 31st, 2024.
The REALTOR® Association of Acadiana requires every member to take the MLS Rules & Procedures class in the same cycle as Code of Ethics (2022-2024).
You can take this course live for continuing education credit, or you can take it online for free with NAR.
